Privacy policy

This page explains which of your information we keep when you use BasicMailer, why, and who we share it with.

In short#

We don't show ads and we never sell your data.
We store and deliver your mail only to provide the service to you. Mail passes an automatic spam scan; no person reads it.

Your account details: your name, email address, password (as a hash, never the password itself) and your plan. If you sign in with Google, these come from Google.
Your service settings: your domains, mailboxes and routing settings.
Your mail: the mail your mailboxes receive and send.
Security records: the IP address and browser of the device you sign in from, and important actions you take in your panel.
Sending records: how many people you send mail to and when. For mail that bounces or gets a complaint, the recipient's address is recorded too.

Your card details never reach us; payments are taken by Polar.

To run your mailboxes and to receive and send your mail.
To manage your subscription.
To prevent spam and abuse and protect your account.
To send you mail your account requires (verification, password resets, limit and subscription notices). We don't send advertising mail.

We use these services to run BasicMailer:

Otherwise we share your information only if the law requires it.

As long as your account is open.
If your subscription ends, sending stops first, then your mailboxes are frozen and your data is deleted. We email you before every step.
If you delete your account, your data is deleted right away; it stays in backups for at most 15 more days.

We use the cookies needed for signing in and remembering your language.
